In Loving Memory Sidney Weber - 1995-2008

Some dear friends of ours, Jeff & Cassie Weber, lost their oldest daughter, Sidney, in a tragic accident on Friday, May 23, 2008. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them as they deal with this great loss in their lives. She was one of my niece Nicole's best friends.

What Is This Thing That Men Call Death
By President Gordon B. Hinckley

What is this thing that men call death,
This quiet passing in the night?
'Tis not the end, but genesis
Of better worlds and greater light.

O God, touch Thou my aching heart,
And calm my troubled, haunting fears.
Let hope and faith, transcendent, pure,
Give strength and peace beyond my tears.

There is no death, but only change
With recompense for victory won;
The gift of Him who loved all men,
The Son of God, the Holy One.

I am thankful for the Plan of Happiness and the meaning it has in our lives, knowing death is a temporary separation and that we will see Sidney again. We love you Sidney Lee!

Tyler's Stats

6'2"
195 lbs.
Age 14 3/4
Shoe Size - A whopping 15 - anybody want to donate to the Tyler shoe fund?

Princess Sadee, the Shih Tzu

Sadee, our Shih Tzu Princess, has been a part of our family for 4 years. We got her when she was 9 weeks old and she was 2.6 pounds, smaller than my size 8 1/2 shoe. She is a sassy 13 pounds and we love her dearly. She definitely rules the house and pretty much gets what she wants, just by the look in her eyes. In February of this year, she was viciously attacked by our neighbor's 80 + pound lab mix, had 5 puncture wounds and required staples. She couldn't walk for 3 days and took about 6 weeks to completely heal. We were very lucky she wasn't killed. She thinks she is human and makes her moods very clear. She is the cutest when she shows her underbite, smiles and gives you kisses. She lives for belly rubs, especially from Aunt Janet and hates baths.

BEST BUDS (Tyler & Bobby) - June 2007

All About Tyler

Tyler & his buddies (L to R - Bobby, David, Brian & Tyler - June 2007)

MAY 2008
Tyler is wrapping up his first year in high school. This was a hugh learning curve for both mom and Tyler. He started off with a bang and slowly fizzled like the end of a firework on July 5th. He will be glad for a summer break, only to start the long haul of football training and practice. He lives for football and has developed into quite the social butterfly.

He loves to hang out at the mall with his friends (both girls and guys), loves to hang out with friends from church and play video games or watch movies, and can't wait for new episodes of House or the Office to watch in his spare time.
